Some of you may know that I have the honor of co-chairing the Senate Prayer Breakfast. But I'm not in charge of the Prayer Breakfast. The Lord's in charge.

Each week, we walk into that room as United States Senators. But no matter how many billions of dollars we've been debating on the Senate floor—no matter how rancorous or important the debate may have been—we come together as family, as children of God.
